Gwillim Lakes by Steffen Sauder - This photo was taken after a high tide in British Columbia, Canada. It is a photographic image based in nature. I chose this photo because of the symbolism it creates. This photo presents the idea that even on unstable, uncertain ground, in solitary, something can flourish. It represents, I think, all people at some stage in life. When we're surrounded by high tide, dangerous or hopeless situations, we can thrive and stand all on our own.
I love this! what a great photo and message that you received from it. I too interpreted the picture as a metaphor of living on "unstable, uncertain ground"
